Connecting 17,000 Student iPads
The St. Vrain Valley school district serves over 50 schools in northwest Colorado. Each site is all-digital and text-book free. One challenge for district's IT staff is maintaining a robust and flexible network ready to handle thousands of devices in close proximity.
Cisco dedicated a team of developers and support staff to engineer the SD Bonjour technology needed and wanted to let the world know about their success. Cisco had generated a huge reservoir of good will with the school district and that provided us at First Person unprecedented access to a working school and the engaged students who learn and play there. We used an experienced documentary film crew to capture the structured chaos of a middle school day and the high demands placed on the Cisco SD Bonjour network by every student.
Connecting Cisco's technology to the purpose and passions of the St Vrain Valley educators makes the video memorable and inspirational. Potential customers and Cisco staff are both energized by the message and inspired towards future possibilities.
